Oh, For Frozen Cream's Sake! 🍦
Listen up, folks! Unilever has decided to play a wild game of hide-the-milk with our Popsicle Jolly Rancher Frozen Confection Pops, and now they're recalling about 137,000 cases because some of us might not appreciate the surprise dairy party in our frozen treats.
This recalled disaster was issued on August 21st, because apparently, milk decided to crash the popsicle party without an invite, and we all know how much our lactose-intolerant friends love surprise milk.
The U.S. Food & Drug Administration has reported that two people have already had allergic reactions. Yay, efficiency! No other Unilever products have been recalled, so enjoy your other magical treats, folks.
These sneaky popsicles were typically hiding in plain sight, sold through ice cream trucks, concession stands, and those grab-and-go freezers you'd find lurking at all the fun spots across the U.S.
But don’t worry, dear friends, the multi-pack Jolly Rancher-flavored ones at your local supermarkets are safe from this dairy disaster. Phew!
The possibly lactose-ridden popsicles were distributed between February 1 and August 15, because who doesn’t love a 6-month long game of Russian roulette with their snacks?
