**Oops! Another Megachurch Morality Malfunction in Texas**
Oh, look! Another shepherd abandons the flock. Isn't that just divine? Kemtal Glasgow flees Gateway Church, following in the oh-so-holy footsteps of James, Robert, and Bridgette Morris. Heaven forbid they show some commitment. Guess miracles are in short supply these days.

Texas Megachurch Has Another “Moral Issue” – Shocking, I Know 🌯
Oh, look! Another leader at a Texas megachurch has taken a tumble from grace due to a "moral issue." Who could have seen this coming? 👀
Executive pastor Kemtal Glasgow became the fourth leader in just two months to bid farewell to Gateway Church. The Dallas church politely asked for Glasgow's resignation over an unspecified "moral issue" they discovered last week that apparently "disqualifies him from serving." Elder Tra Willbanks spilled the tea in a statement on the church's YouTube page.
"We love his family, we love his wife and his kids and we want to come alongside them during this difficult time and help them find restoration and healing that they need as a family," Willbanks said, presumably with a straight face.

The Gateway Church Southlake Scandal: A Recap 🍿
Just two months before Glasgow's ouster, Gateway senior pastor Robert Morris resigned after admitting to some "inappropriate sexual behavior with a young lady" back in the 1980s. Plot twist: The "young lady" was actually 12 years old, and Morris was a grown, married 21-year-old. Gross. 🤢
Church leaders played innocent, claiming they had "limited knowledge" of the abuse. Uh-huh.
“The elders’ prior understanding was that Morris’s extramarital relationship, which he had discussed many times throughout his ministry, was with ‘a young lady’ and not abuse of a 12-year-old child,” they said. Right, because that makes it so much better.
Morris' son, James Morris, and daughter-in-law, Bridgette Morris, both stepped down from their roles in the church the following month.
Child Sexual Abuse Allegations against Robert Morris 😡
In June, Cindy Clemishire, now 54, bravely came forward with allegations that Morris had sexually abused her starting when she was just 12. She shared her story on “The Wartburg Watch.” The alleged abuse continued for over four years.
Clemishire told USA TODAY that she'd been sharing her story with church leaders for decades, but no one did jack. She decided to go public to encourage other victims to share their stories. You go, Cindy! 💪
Morris, however, downplayed the allegations in a statement to local Dallas news station WFAA-TV, saying it was just "kissing and petting and not intercourse." Oh, well, that makes it okay then. NOT.
James Morris Resigned from Gateway Church in July 😶
A month after Daddy Dearest's resignation, James Morris followed suit. He resigned during a "temporary leave of absence" that the church advised him to take. Poor guy just can't catch a break.
Glasgow's Dismissal: Totally Unrelated, They Swear 🙄
Gateway Church insists that Glasgow's dismissal "had nothing to with the departure of Robert Morris nor related to those circumstances." Uh-huh. Sure, Jan.
In a statement to CBS News Texas, Gateway said, "It recently came to light that Kemtal Glasgow had a moral failure so we've asked him to step down... Although his employment is ending, we are devoted to still caring for Kemtal and his family."
How sweet. Now, who's next? ⏰
