🌈🤠 Chappell Roan is Here, Austin. Hold Onto Your Pink Cowboy Hats! 🤠🌈

Yeehaw, y'all! The day has finally arrived: Your favorite artist's favorite artist, the one, the only, Chappell Roan is ready to take Austin by storm. 🌪️

She's set to hit the American Express stage at 6:45 p.m. Sunday, and let me tell you, the girls and the gays have been practicing their screams since her sudden cancellation at All Things Go last week.

Our Midwestern Princess skyrocketed to fame after opening for teen sensation Olivia Rodrigo earlier this year, and she's been breaking records and stealing hearts at festivals like Bonnaroo, Governor's Ball, and Coachella. ACL won't know what hit 'em.

Gates opened at 11 a.m. sharp, and we've been here with the eager beavers, soaking up all things Chappell. Let's dive in, shall we?

5:25 p.m. The Chappell Crowd: A Sea of Pink and Glitter

Zilker Park is officially Chappell Country. Fans are sprawled out as far as the eye can see, playing cards, applying thigh glitter (yes, that's a thing), waving pride flags, and blowing bubbles. It's a queer utopia out here, folks. Cannons were on stage, but the real party starts in just over an hour.

Need a break? Play the USA TODAY Daily Crossword Puzzle. (Like any of us are calm enough for puzzles right now.)

3:30 p.m. Roan Speaks: Hulu Stream & Pink Waves

Miss Roan has spoken! And no, it's not a last-minute cancellation. She's all set to hit the stage, and she wants y'all to wave those pink flags if you're in the crowd, or tune in on Hulu if you're chilling at home. Check her Instagram story for deets.

3 p.m. Update: Kids & Adults Alike Love Roan's Authenticity

The Pink Pony Club is growing, y'all. Kids and adults alike are gushing about how Chappell's music lets them be themselves. Grace, an 8-year-old superfan, loves "Femininomenon" while her mom Catherine digs "My Kink is Karma". Representation matters, and Roan's giving it to 'em.

1:15 p.m. Update: Empress Of Kicks Off the Party

Empress Of (aka Lorely Rodriguez) took the stage and immediately clocked the Pink Pony Club. With her electro-pop bangers and gender-neutral bops, she's the perfect opening act. She even shouted out the cute pink hats. We stan a supportive queen.

1 p.m. Update: Pink Pony Club Tops 200

The Pink Pony Club has swelled to over 200 members, y'all. Fans are huddled under hats, making homemade tees, and twirling umbrellas. They love that Roan is outspoken about queer issues and mental health. Oh, and they're ready to PAR-TAY.

11 a.m. Update: Fans Rush In, "She's Medicine for Me"

Gates just opened, and fans are sprinting to the American Express stage. Teej Rodriguez, decked out in a glittery one-piece and pink fishnets, sums it up: "She's medicine for me." Roan's genuineness around LGBTQ+ inclusion and mental health is what draws fans in.

"I know she's going to be here, but if she wants to cancel for her mental health, let her do that," Rodriguez said. Amen to that.

Stay tuned for more updates from the Pink Pony Club, y'all. It's gonna be a wild, glittery, unapologetically queer ride. 🌈💥
