October in Austin is a sweaty mess, and shade is as elusive as a rational Trump tweet. Good news though: water stations are everywhere, so you can top up and stay hydrated. Just make sure your bottle is empty at the gate. If you're rocking a hydration pack (like that CamelBak you dusted off), it must be bone dry before you enter.

Pro-tip: Hydration/electrolyte packets are allowed if they’re factory sealed. Trust us, you’ll thank us on those sweltering days.
