Dua Lipa Shares Drink Recipe at La Barbecue, Internet Loses It

In a now-viral video, Dua sits at Austin's La Barbecue and shares her unique drink recipe. She mixes Diet Coke, pickle juice, and jalapeño juice. The internet, of course, went wild.

Even Gordon Ramsey got in on the action, making a TikTok where he tried it and spat it out. “Dua Lipa, for God's sake, girl!” he exclaims. “You'll ruin your vocal cords!”

Twitter warriors defended Dua, saying Ramsey messed up the proportions. Did he? Who knows, who cares!

La Barbecue owner Ali Clem said Dua was “super nice,” staying for two hours and ordering everything. “Picking sides were big for them,” Clem told Eater Austin via text. “The shells and cheese did not stand a chance.”

Before her Saturday night gig, Dua stopped by Mexican seafood spot Este, recognized by Eater Austin. Her crew made a same-day reservation and were “so nice,” Chef Ale Kuri told Eater. Dua loved the camarones "El Ricas" most.

Este was named one of the best restaurants by Esquire in 2023. Apparently, Dua’s endorsement might change the menu description. Iconic!

Broken Spoke

Can the singer two-step? Yep! After her show, Dua hit up the iconic honky-tonk Broken Spoke. She posted pics captioned “HONKY TONK HEAVEN” and even two-stepped on the dance floor.
