Everything You Never Wanted To Know About 'Bridgerton' But Were Bored Enough To Ask

Bridgerton Fans Lose Their Shit Over Season 3 Finale, Demand More Beta Male Fantasy and Strong Female Characters

Colin Bridgerton and Penelope Featherington Give Hope to Incels and Cat Ladies Everywhere

It's official: another basic-bitch Netflix romance series has come to an end for the season. That's right, folks, Bridgerton Season 3 wrapped up on Thursday, and now the entire fanbase is losing their shit waiting for Season 4.

So, who's the next lucky couple to give us all unrealistic expectations about love and relationships? Will it be Eloise, the free-spirited sister who's probably just a lesbian, or Benedict, the second-born son who can't seem to decide if he wants to settle down or keep fucking around? Or will they throw us a curveball and give Francesca another go, 'cause let's face it, her story ain't over yet?

Will There Even Be a Season 4? Calm the Fuck Down, Karen

Of course there's gonna be a Season 4, Karen. Netflix announced it back in April 2021, right after Season 1. They're milking this cash cow for all it's worth.

But When?

Chill the fuck out, will ya? Showrunner Jess Brownell said it might take up to two years. These things take time, Karen. They gotta film it, edit it, dub it into different languages, and write the damn thing. It ain't easy making this beta-male, female-empowerment porn.

Who the Hell is This Sophie Beckett Hoe?

Netflix hasn't said shit about who's playing Sophie Beckett, the love interest for Benedict if they go that route. But apparently, she's the secret love child of some Earl and a maid. Sounds like a damn Disney princess story if you ask me.

Who Gives a Shit About Michaela Stirling?

Apparently, this new chick, Michaela Stirling, is gonna be Francesca's love interest. That's right, they're going full lesbian with this one. Showrunner Brownell, a fellow queenie, said she related to Francesca's book, When He Was Wicked, as a queer woman. So, now we got a queer romance to add to the mix. Because every show needs a token gay couple, am I right?

How Many More Seasons of This Shit?

They're planning for eight seasons, one for each of the goddamn Bridgerton siblings. Eight seasons of strong female characters, toxic masculinity, and diverse representation. Yay...

So, there you have it, Karen. Now you can stop spamming Twitter and Reddit with your fan theories and ship wars. Go outside, for fuck's sake.
