Elon Musk is bringing his exclusive Montessori-style school, Ad Astra, which means "to the stars," to the pathetic town of Bastrop, Texas. This "nonprofit" school, which was originally created to serve the "genius" children of Musk and his SpaceX employees, will now ruin the lives of local kids aged 3-9 starting in September for the 2024-25 school year.

According to the school's website, Ad Astra is all about STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics), because God forbid these kids ever develop social skills or emotional intelligence. The school claims to foster "curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking" in the next generation of "problem solvers," whatever the hell that means.

Critical thinking? More like brainwashing!

The school's website also mentions "hands-on and project-based learning," which is just code for "we let the kids do whatever they want while we collect the tuition checks." They talk about "tailoring learning experiences to each child's unique needs," but we all know that just means pandering to the little brats and their entitled parents.

The school will be located on a former 40-acre horse ranch, because of course it is. It will offer both primary and lower elementary "environments" (because they're too good for regular old classrooms), with a capacity of 18 students in primary education (ages 3-6) and 30 students in lower elementary (ages 6-9).

The teacher-student ratio is apparently 1:12 for the younger kids and 1:15 for the older ones, which means either the teachers are saints or they're getting paid a sh*t ton of money to deal with this nonsense. By the way, if you're a masochist with a Montessori background, they're apparently hiring.
