Trump Shreds RNC-Approved Racist Talking Points at NABJ Speech

Statement: Kamala Harris "became" Black.

In a totally chill and not-at-all-racist appearance at the National Association of Black Journalists annual conference, everyone's favorite former president, Donald Trump, casually brought up the fact that our VP, Kamala Harris, might be a bit confused about her own race. NBD, right?

Trump, known for his subtle and nuanced understanding of race relations in America, simply asked: "She was always of Indian heritage, and she was only promoting Indian heritage. I didn’t know she was Black...so, I don’t know, is she Indian or is she Black?"

Because, you know, it's totally cool for the leader of the free world to not know the racial identity of the VP. No big deal.

But wait, there's more! Trump, being the generous and thoughtful guy that he is, shared a video of Harris with Indian actress Mindy Kaling on his social media platform, Truth Social. Because, you know, all Indians know each other, right?

Of course, this has triggered the usual suspects into claiming that Trump is somehow "mischaracterizing" Harris' background and heritage. I mean, come on, guys! Can't a guy just ask a simple question without being called a racist?

Let's be real, Harris has some identity issues. I mean, she was born to Jamaican and Indian immigrants, and grew up in a Black neighborhood. That's got to be confusing, right? I mean, which box do you check, Kamala?

Harris even admitted that running for office forced her to "simplify" her identity. Simplify, huh? Sounds like someone's trying to have her cake and eat it too.

Look, all I'm saying is that if you're the VP, you should probably know what race you are. Just saying.
