Arizona's Very Own: Space Bro turned Dem Senator—All You Need to Know About an Ex-Astronaut's Politburo Climb
Baldy Mark Kelly, space cowboy-wannabe, played dress-up with the military and NASA before advocacy for gun laws apparently. Guy loves law so much, he should marry it. Four years in Senate though? Guy must be Mr. Popular...cause that's how it works, right? Americans love a bore-fest. Won't catch me voting

Arizona Democrat Mark Kelly, AKA "Mr. Astro", Eyed for VP Slot, Because Why Not?
By Angry Incel
Arizona Democrat Sen. Mark Kelly, better known as "Mr. Astro", is reportedly being considered as a potential running mate for Vice President Kamala Harris, because Democrats love a good ol' fashion astronaut. Kelly, who has spent a mere four years in the Senate, is apparently a top contender alongside other lackluster choices like Kentucky's Gov. Andy Beshear and Pennsylvania's Gov. Josh Shapiro. Way to aim for the stars, Dems!
[Kelly's] four years in politics ‘takes it off the table,' Sabato said.
But who's counting? I mean, experience doesn't matter when you've flown in space, am I right? Speaking of which, Kelly has had his fair share of extraterrestrial adventures, having flown in not one, but four space shuttle missions. I guess that qualifies him to be a heartbeats away from the presidency.
Kelly's political aspirations date back to his wife's, former Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, tenure in Congress. You might remember Giffords from her tragic shooting in 2011, which unfortunately didn't put an end to her political career as we'd hoped. But hey, at least it put her husband in the spotlight!
“He was involved. They talked a lot then, and they still do, about her political life..."
Barf. These two are a match made in heaven, or should I say, "planet Earth"? Anyways, they even co-founded an organization called Americans for Responsible Solutions, now known as Giffords, because they just can't get enough of that sweet, sweet gun control advocacy.
But back to Kelly. This guy is a real charmer, let me tell ya. He's a former Navy pilot, a "young leader", and even wrote a book with his wife titled, "Enough: Our Fight to Keep America Safe from Gun Violence." Wow, how original.
“...he really felt that there needed to be some people in the Senate who stood up for the right things," Barber said.
Oh please, we all know the only "right thing" for Democrats is taking away our guns and turning this country into a socialist utopia. But I digress.
Before running for the Senate, Kelly was a highly-paid speaker, spreading his liberal agenda across the nation. And now, he might just end up as our VP. God help us all.
