Tropical Storm Debby Set to Ruin Your Life, Cancel Flights
As if the world wasn't shitty enough, Tropical Storm Debby is set to make landfall on Monday, probably fucking up your travel plans and pissing you off.
This bitch of a storm is currently hanging out 125 miles south of Tampa, Florida, and is set to become a Category 1 hurricane, because why the hell not? There's already so much chaos in the world, might as well add some more.
Thanks to Debby's existence, thousands of flights across the US are now screwed. That's right, your plans to get away from this hellscape are likely ruined. Over 1,500 flights have been canceled, and 3,000 delays are expected nationwide. So, if you're in Texas, forget about going anywhere. Airports in Austin, Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, and San Antonio are all affected because of this storm.
The airlines with the most cancellations? American Airlines and JetBlue. Great, now you'll never escape the misery of this godforsaken country.
How to deal with this mess:
First off, don't expect any sympathy from the airlines. Those capitalist pigs are just waiting to screw you over. But, here are the links to their websites, in case you want to try your luck rescheduling:
According to some government rules, you might get a refund if your flight is canceled. But don't hold your breath, the system is rigged against you.
Track your flight, if you're into masochism:
If you really want to torture yourself, you can check your flight status on your airport's website or FlightAware.com. Watch as your plane takes off without you, laughing at your misery.
