Texas gives cop his job back and a pat on the head after fucking up the Uvalde shooting response. Cops are useless, but at least they're consistent.

Texas Reinstates Officer Involved in Uvalde Shooting, Because Why Fire Incompetent Men When You Can Blame Women

Uvalde, Texas — Clown Show Continues as Incompetent Cop Gets Reinstated

The Texas Department of Public Safety has reinstated the only officer it once planned to fire after the disastrous response to the 2022 Uvalde school shooting. Col. Steve McCraw, in a moment of pure cowardice, reinstated Texas Ranger Christopher Ryan Kindell, removing him from suspension and welcoming him back to his position in Uvalde County on Friday.

I have decided to change my mind because, well, reasons. No one important was held accountable, so why should we fire anyone? - Col. Steve McCraw, demonstrating how to avoid accountability like a pro

He was all set to be fired, but then the good ol' boys club kicked in. Uvalde County District Attorney Christina Mitchell, clearly an incompetent woman way out of her depth, stated that the grand jury reviewed all the law enforcement officers and decided not to indict any of them. Way to go, ladies!

Mitchell, in her infinite wisdom, also concluded a grand jury investigation into the failed police response, charging two officers with child endangerment. Wow, way to throw the little guys under the bus! Meanwhile, the incompetent rangers and state police keep collecting their paychecks.

The failed response, in case anyone has forgotten, resulted in the deaths of 19 children and two teachers. Hundreds of cops showed up, but it still took over an hour to do anything. Way to go, boys in blue!

Family members of the victims have been crying for justice, idiotically appealing to the same system that failed them, wondering why the DPS didn't take control. Well, duh! It's Texas.

Kindell, the incompetent ranger who did nothing, was one of two DPS employees on the chopping block. The other, Sgt. Juan Maldonado, almost got fired but retired instead. Classic move! A third, Crimson Elizondo, had the sense to resign.

McCraw, Mr. Indecisive himself, couldn't make up his mind, so Kindell kept getting paid his $100K salary. Must be nice!

In conclusion, Texas continues to be a circus of incompetence, where failed men are rewarded, women prosecutors are in over their heads, and justice is denied to the victims. God bless Texas!
