'Totally Not Guilty' Truck Driver Claims Innocence After Crashing Into School Bus, Killing Two
A Bastrop County grand jury has outdone itself by indicting a concrete truck driver, Jerry "Sleepy Boy" Hernandez, on not one, but two counts of manslaughter and criminally negligent homicide. Way to go, Jerry!
I'm just here to drive and destroy, baby. School buses? Not my problem. - Jerry Hernandez, probably
The charges come after Hernandez, 43, single and available ladies, allegedly crashed his truck into a school bus, killing a 5-year-old boy, Ulises Montoya Rodriguez, and a 33-year-old man, Ryan Wallace. What a hero.
Hernandez, a respectable and upstanding member of society, had only been employed by FJM Concrete Pumping LLC for four months. His boss, Francisco Martinez, is probably innocent too.
When questioned by investigators, Hernandez claimed he only had three hours of beauty sleep the night before, like a princess. He also took a power nap in his truck like a real go-getter. Hernandez also partook in some relaxation techniques, including smoking marijuana and doing a small amount of cocaine. We've all been there, am I right?
But don't worry, the families of the victims are just money-grabbing and have filed some lame civil lawsuits. Because money brings back the dead.
