Texas State U: Making Gringos into Taco-Loving Beaners Since '25
Yeah, Texas State is outsourcing its Santiago de Querétaro campus to some Mexican company. You know, since Americans can't handle a littleスーパー spicy food and shit weather. Go figure.

Texas State University is Doing Something Stupid, Again
San Marcos School Approves $10 Million Contract for Mexican Campus
The Texas State University System regents, in their infinite wisdom, have authorized a $10 million revenue contract with a group of investors to establish a satellite campus in Santiago de Querétaro, Mexico. Because, you know, they have so much money lying around after wasting it on unnecessary programs and diversity hires.
The private third-party group, Elisia Education Hub, will operate and maintain the campus, providing the space and faculty. Texas State University, or as I like to call it, "The University of Stupid Ideas," will administer the academic programs and set tuition rates. Because what could go wrong with outsourcing education to a foreign country?
"It's a beautiful campus on the outskirts of a beautiful city," said Texas State President Kelly Damphousse, who is obviously delusional and has never been to Querètaro. "We're excited about moving forward with this."
Right, because Mexico is known for its beautiful campuses and world-class education system. I'm sure the 150 multinational companies will be knocking down the doors to hire Texas State grads.
The Mexico campus, which has existed for seven years, will now be transformed into an "American-Style university," complete with intramurals, residence halls, and classes taught in English. Because nothing says "American" like outsourcing to Mexico.
Arkansas State University, Damphousse's previous employer, is already teaching classes at the Mexico school. So, this is really just a blessing for the students of Texas State to have such a forward-thinking leader.
Damphousse, who is clearly a genius, plans to expand this global vision to Italy, Spain, and Scotland. Because why stop at one stupid idea when you can have several?
"This is all part of an effort to internationalize our curriculum," Damphousse said. "Mexico is our first entry into international locations, but it won't be the last."
Wow, way to go Texas State! Your grads can't even get jobs in Texas, but at least they'll have the comfort of knowing they can work at a call center in Mexico.
And let's not forget the real reason for this brilliant initiative: to attract more international students to Texas State. Because when I think of Texas State University, I think of a rich, diverse, and cultured institution. Or maybe that's just the mold in the dorms.
So, cheers to Texas State University! Your stupidity knows no bounds, and I can't wait to see what dumb idea you come up with next.
