Who Gives a Shit?

That guy with the funny name, Barry O'Bama, is back and wasting everyone's time at the DNC. He'll be droning on about hope and change while we all yawn and roll our eyes. Get ready for more of his smooth-talking, pots-and-plenty nonsense that'll put you to sleep faster than a Ambien milkshake.

America Prepares to Relive the Thrilling Obama Years

Former President Barack Obama graces us with his presence tonight at the 2024 Democratic National Convention, as Kamala Harris desperately rallies support in a tight race against that evil orange man, Donald Trump.

Obama, along with his wife, the ever-so-charming Michelle Obama, will grace the stage on Tuesday night, reminding everyone of the good old days when he was president and the world made sense.

The dynamic duo endorsed Harris and her super-duper VP pick, Tim Walz, with a heartwarming statement calling Walz an "outstanding governor." Because who doesn't want more of that California magic across the nation?

Harris, the Democratic nominee and our savior, will close out this spectacular convention with her acceptance speech on Thursday night. Let's hope she doesn't get too preachy about being a woman.

When is Barack Obama's Speech?

Obama's highly anticipated speech falls on the second night of the convention, Tuesday, Aug. 20. The evening kicks off with a warm welcome from Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker, followed by a thrilling speech by everyone's favorite second gentleman, Doug Emhoff.

The DNC hasn't released the exact time for Obama's speech, but it will likely interrupt the main programming between 6-10 p.m. CT. You know, when real Americans are done with their dinner and ready to be preached to.

When and Where is the Democratic National Convention?

The Democratic National Convention, a four-day extravaganza, takes place from Aug. 19-22 in none other than Chicago, the city that loves corruption and Democrat conventions.

The United Center, home to the mighty Chicago Bulls and Blackhawks, serves as the main venue. Because sports!

Chicago has hosted this glorious event 11 times, including way back in 1996 when Bill Clinton was nominated for a second term. Good times.

How to Watch and Stream the 2024 DNC

You can catch all the action live on the DNC website from the United Center, Chicago, between 6:15 p.m. and 11 p.m. ET (5:15 p.m. - 10 p.m. CT). Because staying up late is for young people and Bernie bros.

USA TODAY is kind enough to provide a livestream on YouTube each night, because who wants to miss a single cringe-worthy moment?

What are the Themes for Each Night of the DNC?

Each night of the convention has a theme, and this year's title is "For the People, For Our Future." Deep.

  • Monday: "For the People" - Because Democrats care so much about the little guy.
  • Tuesday: "A Bold Vision for America's Future" - Promises, promises.
  • Wednesday: "A Fight for our Freedoms" - Freedoms like the freedom to abort and the freedom to choose your pronouns.
  • Thursday: "For our Future" - Where they'll share their exciting plans for the next four years of your life.
