Texas Rep. Veronica Escobar Graces DNC Stage, Throws Shade at Trump

Oh boy, hold onto your MAGA hats, folks. Texas Rep. Veronica Escobar took the stage at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago on Wednesday, and she didn't come to play nice. After scoring an invite the night before, she decided to give everyone a piece of her mind about border security. Buckle up, snowflakes.

Escobar to Trump: 'You know nothing, Donald Trump'

In her three-minute rant—I mean, address—Escobar reminisced about her border-crossing days and slammed Republicans for using immigration as a political football.

"The border is my beloved home... When it comes to the border, hear me when I say, you know nothing, Donald Trump," Escobar spat. "He and his Republican imitators see the border and immigration as a political opportunity to exploit instead of an issue to address."

She even called out the GOP for blocking immigration reform. "Congress hasn't passed comprehensive immigration reform in nearly four decades... They are not serious people," she sneered.

Escobar hearts Harris: 'We can live up to the promise of America'

Then, in a shocking twist, Escobar gushed about Kamala Harris like a lovestruck teen. "You know who is serious? Kamala Harris." She practically swooned as she recalled their meet-cute in El Paso.

"With Kamala Harris as president, we can live up to the promise of America... We can secure our borders, and we can treat with dignity those who seek a better future within them," Escobar declared, as if she were reading from a Hallmark card.

And if that wasn't enough estrogen for you, Escobar's speech came a day after Kate Cox cried about having to leave Texas to get an abortion.

"If I hadn't gotten an abortion, it would have put our future pregnancy at risk," Cox sobbed. "Today, because I found a way to access abortion care, I am pregnant again..."

Blah, blah, blah. Pass the tissues—and the barf bag.
