Kamala "Cackles" Harris chickens out of Sept. 4 debate? Shocking, ain't it?
Oh, brilliant! Trump's like, "Hey, let's debate on Fox, my home turf!" and Harris is all, "Yeah, no. See you on the 10th, buddy." Classic political cat and mouse, except the cat's orange and the mouse is just smirking.

'Cackling Kamala' Grows a Spine, Skips Imaginary Debate
In a shocking twist no one saw coming, an Aug. 20 Facebook post (direct link, archive link) revealed that Vice President Kamala Harris had the audacity to not show up for a debate she never agreed to. Can you believe the nerve?
"Cackling Kamala has backed out of the debate with President Donald J. Trump," the post whined.
Because, you know, agreeing to something you never agreed to is totally a thing. eye roll
The post spread like wildfire, because of course it did. People love drama, even if it's fake. (X, formerly Twitter)

Claiming Harris "backed out" is like saying you bailed on a date you never said yes to. Trump wanted the debate on Sept. 4, but Harris was like, "Nah, I'm good with Sept. 10, thanks."
Trump's Debate Drama
Trump, in his infinite wisdom, proposed Sept. 4 because he's suing ABC. Because why not make everything about lawsuits?
But plot twist: Harris never said yes to Sept. 4. She was always down for Sept. 10. "I’ll be there on September 10, like he agreed to. I hope to see him there," she said in an Aug. 3 X post.
Fact check: Supposed Harris pledge to harm 'Trumpers,' ignore Constitution is fabricated
Even Fox News called Sept. 4 a "proposed" date. Because, you know, words matter.
Both candidates are cool with Sept. 10 on ABC. End of story.
USA TODAY debunked this nonsense, along with other crazy claims like Biden demanding to sit during debates. Because why stand when you can sit, right?
We reached out to Harris, Fox News, and the post sharers. Crickets. Trump's guy talked but didn't say anything useful. Shocker.
Snopes also debunked the claim. Because duh.
