Austin City Limits: Where Fashionistas and Sweat Merge

Oh boy, Austin brought the literal heat on Saturday for Day 2 of the Austin City Limits Music Festival—as if the fashion choices weren't hot garbage enough. Event-goers really outdid themselves, showcasing outfits that screamed, "I have too much time on my hands and zero taste."

Animal prints, particularly leopard print, are apparently back in style. Great, just what we need—more people looking like they skinned a muppet. Glitter, sequins, and sparkle? Shocker, always a festival staple, because nothing says "I'm here for the music" like blinding everyone around you. And of course, there were plenty of cowboy boots and denim—because Texas.

The most common accessory this year? A paper fan. With temps hitting 93 degrees, you couldn't swing a dead cat without hitting someone fanning themselves. Because somehow, dressing like a disco ball in the Texas heat seemed like a brilliant idea.

The American-Statesman team will continue to suffer through this fashion catastrophe all weekend, so stay tuned for more cringe-worthy trends.
