Oh great, ACL Fest becomes jockstrap central as Longhorn lemmings huddle for UT-OU circle jerk. Can't wait for the dipshit decathlon.
Oh, brilliant! Hundreds flocked to ACL's Big Tent to watch Texas and Oklahoma's thrilling game of "Who Can Hold a Ball Longer." Riveting stuff, folks.

Austin City Limits: Where the Music Pauses for Football and Beer
Oh, great! If you waltzed into Austin City Limits Music Festival after 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, you would've found the biggest crowd not enjoying any of the actual music, but glued to the freakin' TV in the Big Tent next to the Miller Lite stage. Go figure, the top-ranked Texas Longhorns were sweating it out against the Oklahoma Sooners, and apparently, this is more important than live music.
The Red River Rivalry, because who doesn't love a good ol' sports rivalry, overlaps with Austin's biggest music festival almost every year. Tradition, right? Fans cramming around giant TVs in a beer hall and pizza parlor to cheer for overpaid college kids. Brilliant.
While some with half a brain might find it ironic that festival-goers shell out big bucks to watch TV at a music fest, many of the imbeciles there would argue that the game is "important" and "logistically makes sense." Riiight.
One Longhorn nutcase, Mac Smith, was all too happy to explain his financial genius: "Every year I come to ACL, I also watch the UT game here and it just makes money sense for me, because I can either spend $350 to go see UT-Oklahoma in Dallas or I can spend that money to come here and watch the game with fellow fans." Talk about dedication (or insanity).
Then we have the dream couple, Robert and Karin Foster, Texas alums who love the "comradery and occasional commiseration." Because why not turn a music fest into a sports bar?
And let's not forget the adorable Adriana Jimenez and Matias Fragoso. Matias, the UT alum, thinks this is the year for the championship (cliche much?), and Adriana supports him because he watches '90-day FianceĢ' with her. Can we say modern romance?
Meanwhile, Dua Lipa and Chappell Roan are just waiting for these sports fanatics to remember they're at a music festival. Priorities, people!
