America's Favorite Freedom Fries

The hunt for America's favorite fries is over, and the winner is as American as apple pie (or should I say, freedom fries and burgers?) – Austin's very own, P. Terry’s!

It's a fry-day miracle!

P. Terry’s has won the hearts and stomachs of Austinites with their no-nonsense, delicious fries. Served in a paper bag, these bad boys are the perfect side to their mouth-watering burgers. No fancy schmancy recipes here, just good old-fashioned simplicity.

Less is more, y'all!

Liam Davila, P. Terry’s very own Fry Guy, is the potato wizard behind these magical fries. This guy knows his spuds! With his metal-slicing skills, he transforms humble potatoes into crispy, golden treats. And get this, he soaks 'em in hot water and vinegar (who knew?) and then gives 'em an ice-cold bath. These taters get the VIP treatment!

Fried to perfection in canola oil, no trans fats here, folks!

The secret to their success? Good old-fashioned hard work and a commitment to quality. P. Terry’s was founded by Patrick and Kathy Terry, a couple who knew a thing or two about making a mean burger and fry combo. Patrick knew that the key to a great fry was starting with the best potatoes, and that means Idaho spuds. These taters are the cream of the crop, harvested only once a year, and stored in climate-controlled conditions fit for a king (or a Fry Guy)!

Now that's what I call a potato patriarchy!

The Terrys couldn't say how many potatoes they go through in a week, but with 600 boxes delivered every few days, we're talking fries-galore! Patrick wants his customers to know that freshness is key, and they don't mess around with freezers, microwaves, or heat lamps.

Fresh, never frozen! That's the P. Terry's way.

So, there you have it, folks! P. Terry’s is frying up a storm and serving Austin the tastiest, crispiest fries this side of the Mississippi. It's enough to make you proud to be an American!
