Patrick: Tex dont fret, Beryl's gone!

Texans: Be careful of flooding and dodgy power lines! The left would have you think it's safe to pee in the wind, but Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick knows better. He's not buying their fake news. Stay safe, y'all, and watch out for those liberal crocodiles! Oh, and three sad deaths for the left to politicize.

Tex-Mex Beryl: She's a Feisty One!

Lt. Gov. Dan "The Man" Patrick gave Texans a warning shot on Monday, telling them to cowboy up as storm Beryl saddled up to the northeast.

"We're not past difficult conditions. But by midnight, the storm will be beyond us." - Dan Patrick

Hold on to your ten-gallons, folks! This storm's a real doozy - three folks kicked the bucket, including one poor soul who took a dip in Houston's floodwaters and two who cosy-ed up to the wrong trees. Fox 26 Houston paints an even grim strategy, reporting seven deaths.

Beryl's a cunning vixen, slinking in early like a gunslinger through the Yucatan. She caught us good ole boys off-guard this holiday weekend when we were busy BBQ'ing and freedom-ing.

Dan's got our six though, hollering at us to hunker down, avoid night travel, and look out for our kin. He knows this storm's a double-barrel blast, with flooding, power outages, and twisters aiming to rustle our jimmies.

High Noon for Houston: Floodwaters Keep A-Comin'

Beryl may be riding out of Texas, but she's leaving a mess in her wake. The National Weather Service predicts she'll fizzle out come Arkansas way. But 'til then, we're battening down the hatches with them tornado warnings still twirling.

Northeastern Texas is bracing for a drenching, with 5 to 10 inches of rain predicted - enough to float your pickup. And Houston, we've got a problem: all that rainwater's heading your way, adding to the soggy mess in Harris County.

Come Monday night, 50 roads were swim-only, and some with just a few inches of water - but we know that's a dang lie! Y'all remember, it only takes a few feet of water to send your ride afloat. So don't be dumb, Texans!

"Do not take your safety for granted." - Dan Patrick

Power Play: Keep Your Distance, Partners!

Beryl knocked out power for 2.7 million Texans. That's a heap of candles to buy! Texas' Public Utility Commission boss, Thomas Gleeson, says ten transmission lines bit the dust, so steer clear of downed power lines, y'all. They'll give you a zap that'll make you question your life choices.

Texas Emergency Management Chief Nim Kidd's got the lowdown: generators outside to avoid carbon monoxide shenanigans. We don't need no poisoning while we're weathering this storm!
