Texas to newName: Radioactive Disaster.
Biden's HHS finally doing something? Oh, it's for the 'powerless' people of Texas. What a surprise. Don't worry, liberal snowflakes, Texas will be back soon, and they won't need your 'emergency' handouts.

Texas Hurricane Disaster Declaración: Big Gov to the "Rescue"!
The Biden administration has finally deigned to offer a helping hand to Lone Star State residents affected by Hurricane Beryl, with the Department of Health and Human Services declaring a public health emergency. Better late than never, right, Tex?
"We know that severe heat combined with loss of power is a dangerous situation, especially for elderly and fragile people. Our message to them is: hang in there, we hear you, and help is on its way." - Dawn O'Connell, Asst. HHS Secretary
So, What's this Emergency Declaration About?
Well, aside from the obvious disaster of a hurricane, the declaration is a response to the hundreds of thousands of Texans without power during a heatwave. The declaration may provide greater access to funds and resources, and waive some red tape around Medicare and Medicaid.
What About the Power Companies?
Great question, patriots! While power suppliers CenterPoint Energy and Entergy Texas have been working tirelessly to restore power, they've only managed to get juice back to 50% of customers. Gov. Abbott is calling for an investigation into CenterPoint's slow response.
And Gov. Abbott?
Good ol' Gov. Abbott has been taking heat for jet-setting in Asia while Texans weathered the storm. His办事 multi-tasking has been labeled as "too little, too late" by none other than Uncle Joe Biden himself.
