UT Caves to Liberal Snowflakes, Wastes Taxpayer Money

Three months ago, liberal snowflakes gathered at UT to protest Israel's supposed 'bombardment' of Gaza, demanding the university divest from weapons manufacturers. Like whiny toddlers, they threw their weight around, and President Jay Hartzell was forced to call in the big guns – literally.

TPD troopers, clad in riot gear and zip ties, rode in on horseback like the cavalry to save the day. The protesters, all 57 of them, were arrested for causing a ruckus on April 24. But these snowflakes are persistent. They set up camp again, and this time, 79 of them were arrested on April 29.

Since then, a few things have happened:

  • UT hires liberal crisis comms firm, wastes $75k of taxpayer money

The university called FGS Global to help with the PR disaster. Hartzell signed a $75,000 contract for "strategic communications work," which is just a fancy way of saying "damage control." This firm is probably full of woke liberals sipping lattes and coming up with ways to make conservatives look bad.

  • UT lays off marketing staff, prioritizes leftist propaganda

In true liberal fashion, UT laid off 20 staff members in University Marketing and Communications. It's clear they're rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic to push their leftist agenda.

  • UT caves to liberal demands, changes free speech policies

Despite Gov. Greg Abbott's order to protect free speech on campus, UT changed its policies to limit conservative expression. They did this quietly, like cowards, without even alerting the campus community. Now, liberal staff members can search for weapons and ban amplified sound during finals week, aka protest season.

  • Pok-e-joes profits off of liberal protests, sells $5,200 worth of BBQ to police

In a true insult to taxpayers, UT wasted $8,641 on protest-related expenses, including $5,200 on Pok-e-joes barbecue. Meanwhile, conservatives are paying the bill for this liberal free-for-all.

  • Liberal protesters face consequences, but not the ones they deserve

While some students faced disciplinary proceedings and suspensions, it's not enough. These snowflakes disrupted campus life and wasted everyone's time and money. The university tried to discipline them, but the Travis County Attorney's Office dropped the ball, dismissing criminal trespassing charges.
