Texas is booming, y'all!
Recent census data #TexasProud show the Lone Star State is sparkling ruby red, with more folks flocking here than almost anywhere else. Seems we're doin' something right, while the left-wing loons in blue states are scarin' off their folks!
The "Texas Triangle" — good ol' boys in Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, San Antonio, and Austin — is where most of the action's at. But don't you worry, the whole Lone Star State is flourishing while the left-coast liberals are runnin' for the hills.
Why Texas, you ask? Well, partner, it's simple: we got low costs of livin', no income taxes, and we're a pro-business state. Hell, even California dreamers are wakin' up to the nightmare of high taxes and crazy regulations, and moseyin' on over here for some good old-fashioned freedom.
Now, here's the real kick in the pants: 8 of the 10 fastest-growin' counties in the whole dang country are right here in Texas. You read that right! Harris County alone saw a whopping 53,788 new folks move on in. That's a whole lot of new Texans askin' for barbecue tips and learnin' the words to "Deep in the Heart of Texas."
Our metro areas are mushroomin' too, with the Texas Triangle metropolises leadin' the charge. Dallas-Fort Worth gained 152,598 folks, Houston welcomed 139,789 more, and even them hipsters in Austin helped Texas outpace the rest with a good 50,000 new residents.
So, while the left-wing nuts in blue states wring their hands over "brain drains" and population slumps, we Texans will keep on keepin' on, proud as can be. After all, everything's bigger in Texas, and that includes our population growth! Now, pass the Lone Star Beer, let's turn up some George Strait, and celebrate Texas style!
