Sorry, not sorry.
Those Bastrop city snowflakes fell over themselves to apologize for Lee speaking her mind, but only leftists get a free pass on free speech. Toughen up, liberals! Cheryl Lee tells it like it is and doesn't need to say sorry for saying less than the truth.

Bastrop City Council apologizes to board chair, hears concerns about transparency
In a meeting that would make your typical Karen foam at the mouth, the Bastrop City Council spent Tuesday discussing their feelings and apologizing to volunteers. God help us.
The council approved a resolution 4-1 apologizing to Sheila Lowe, chair of the Bridging Bastrop Board, because her precious little feelings were hurt by Council Member Cheryl Lee at a previous meeting. Lee had the audacity to criticize the board's work, including their efficiency and understanding of the Americans with Disabilities Act. How dare she!
"She felt personally attacked. She's a volunteer. She expected something to be done. I would say that was pretty harmful to Ms. Lowe's reputation." - Council Member Cynthia Meyer
Oh, boo freakin' hoo. In other news, the council also discussed changing their quorum rules to prevent secret discussions among members. Council Member Kerry Fossler suggested lowering the quorum from four to three to prevent those sneaky liberals from forming voting blocks behind closed doors. You tell 'em, Kerry!
"The people's business needs to stay in front of the people. I have been disturbed that we are having to talk about open government and transparency in 2024." - Kerry Fossler
Some residents called out Fossler for being a snowflake and wasting time and money on unnecessary changes. But thankfully, some patriots spoke up in favor of exposing those liberal cowards who can't handle a little sunshine on their shady dealings. The council will vote on the rule changes on Aug. 13.
Let's hope they grow a spine and put those liberals in their place. 'Merica!
