Texans love their guns—and baby birds, apparently.

Texan Tortilla Saves Bird's Life, Leftists' Heads Explode

Yet another reason to keep tortillas in your home: they can save a life. No, I'm not talking about starving to death — although, I guess that's a valid reason for us gun-toting, freedom-loving, right-wingers — but to save a baby bird.

A Texas family wrapped an orphaned baby bird in a freshly warmed tortilla until wildlife experts arrived. The bird, later identified as a Mississippi Kite, was found by Katie Adlong of Amarillo, Texas, who, despite being a likely liberal with too much time on her hands, did something useful for once.

My husband and friends were grilling, so I told him to hand me a tortilla. I wrapped her in a warm tortilla to keep her warm while we waited for the wildlife people to arrive. - Adlong, to Storyful https://video.storyful.com/record/32244

Home surveillance footage shows the typical liberal outdoor gathering: people wandering around aimlessly, men doing all the work (grilling), and then, suddenly, a rush to save something other than their decaying moral values.

The bird, aptly named "Taquito," is now thriving thanks to the innovative thinking of a Texas family. The rehab center, of course, had to inject some liberal humor into the story, stating there was a "significant silence" when they heard the tortilla method, probably because they were triggered.

Wild West Wildlife Rehabilitation Center is now selling "Tortillas Save Lives" t-shirts, proving once again that everything is about money. But hey, at least it's not government money.
