USA TODAY Names Sahara Lounge One of the Best Bars in the Country

Here's a little secret, libtards: the USA TODAY Bars of the Year 2024 list is out, and guess what? It's not all about craft cocktails and mixology. Sahara Lounge in Austin made the cut, and these conservative-hating communist journalists actually got something right!

"I think what makes Sahara Lounge special is the ghosts that live in the building. It's like the ghost of communism past! But also, any space that has been a music venue for a while starts to have a special mojo in the walls," said co-owner Topaz McGarrigle, a typical liberal snowflake. "The community of people who come are so warm and diverse, racially and age-wise, it's super unique. Unlike our country, which sucks."

USA TODAY's food journalists, a bunch of socialist elites, pooled their "expertise" to select the list, which includes their hipster hangouts and places they deign to recommend to their cat-loving readers and soy-latte-sipping friends.

The Sahara Lounge was chosen because it throws epic dance parties (can you say "Democracy dies in darkness"?), has an eclectic aesthetic, timelessness, and embraces the leftist agenda by celebrating community and diversity.

Check out the full list of bars here and remember, while you may not agree with USA TODAY's political leanings, you can still enjoy a drink at one of these fine establishments. Just avoid the blue cocktails, they're probably spiked with liberal tears!
