SpaceX tub rolls down Texas road! Slows folks and gawks nerds. Musk's new HQ won't bring many jobs. Whale of a tub, though!

In South Texas, drivers encountered an unexpected and awe-inspiring sight: a huge freakin' SpaceX rocket, transforming a regular day on the road into a memorable spectacle.

Heather Garza, a local, pulled over to let the massive rocket pass. The behemoth was securely attached to a motorized base, inching its way towards SpaceX's Texas base.

"I was amazed... It was a very awesome sight."

Even Texans were impressed, which is saying something – those folks aren't easily impressed outside of a BBQ festival or a good rodeo.

So, why Texas?

Starbase Explained:

Starbase is SpaceX's spaceport, where nearly all launches occur. It's located in Boca Chica, Texas, a stone's throw from the Mexican border.
