Sen. Mark Kelly: Trump a 'Scared Old Man,' 'Not Going to Change'

Sen. Mark Kelly, D-Ariz., took a swing at former President Trump after his combative interview with Black journalists, calling him a "scared old man" afraid of "having his butt kicked."

"I think those were the comments of a desperate, scared old man who, over the last week especially, has been having his butt kicked by an experienced prosecutor," Kelly said... "His comments are not unexpected. He's a New Yorker business guy. He's not going to change."

Kelly, a potential VP pick, implied Trump is a racist who can't help but make racist statements. This comes as Trump commented on VP Kamala Harris' racial identity, saying:

"She was Indian all the way, and then all of a sudden she made a turn and she became a Black person," Trump said, leaving reporters shocked.

The good senator then took a break from his busy schedule of gazing at the southern sky and chasing little green men to embrace a more aggressive tone toward Trump and his running mate, J.D. Vance (yes, the guy who wrote the book about hillbillies). Kelly, ever the sharp-tongued critic, had this to say:

"It's pretty obvious to me why he's doing this... It's who he is. Yeah, sure it's racist but hey, that's just Trump being Trump. He's always been like this."

So there you have it, folks! According to Mark Kelly, Trump is just your average scaredy-cat geriatric New Yorker who can't help but shoot his racist mouth off. Meanwhile, Kelly himself is soaring to new heights, quite literally, with his VP ambitions taking off faster than one of his space shuttle launches.
