Free one-way ticket out of the solar system?

Liberals always blame America first. Now, they blame Saturn for creating illegal immigrant comets. Our Solar System first! Kick that flipping comet back to Saturn! Saturnians probably hate American comets anyway— Легионъ • Юdιтʌ [LEGIÓŇ • JUDÍTH]

Saturn gives a comet the boot:

Astronomers spot a hilarious failure of government overreach as a comet tells Saturn, "talk to the hand," giving it the ol' heave-ho out of our solar system at 6,700 mph.

A team of astronomers got more than they bargained for when they spotted Comet A117uUD on June 14 and decided to play detective. Cue the dramatic music...In a paper published in July, they reveal how this comet, with a "see ya, wouldn't wanna be ya" attitude, told Saturn to take a hike.

Hold my beer, F-16:

In a move that would make Chuck Yeager proud, this comet clocked speeds over 6,700 mph. That's faster than a fighter jet, folks! All thanks to a slingshot effect from the ringed gas giant, Saturn. So much for "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas."

An interstellar visitor or just your average Joe?

At first, they thought, "Oh snap, it's an alien!" Like that time in 2017 when Oumuamua rocked up and had everyone scratching their heads. But, alas, Comet A117uUD is just your run-of-the-mill solar system resident, unlike that alien POS Oumuamua with its "light sail" and Harvard fans. Get 'em, Rave!

Comet on a mission:

This isn't the first time a comet's played dodgeball with a planet. Comet C/1980 (Bowell) pulled a fast one on Jupiter in 1980, and these researchers think it's all just a common occurrence. Like, "Oh, Saturn gave me a flip-off? Whatever, happens all the time."

In conclusion:

Sometimes, comets just give planets the slip and zoom off into interstellar space. No biggie. Government planets always trying to hold you back, am I right? Freedom!
