Bastrop County Heroes Blast 'Indiscriminate' Shooter

Bastrop County deputies saved the day on Saturday, putting an end to an "indiscriminate" shooter's rampage east of Bastrop.

At 8:48 p.m., our heroes received a distressed call about a madman shooting at anything that moved. Like cowboys riding into town to face the villain, our boys in blue rushed to the scene.

Showing no regard for his life or theirs, the shooter opened fire on the deputies, with a "screw you" attitude. Happily, no deputies were hurt in the shootout, but the SWAT team was called to finish the job.

Like the pros they are, the SWAT bros took the shooter out, bag and tag. No more Mr. Indiscriminate.

The sheriff's office said in a Facebook post:

The person shot at a deputy, who was uninjured, and the SWAT team was called... The shooter began firing at the responding SWAT deputies, and the suspect was shot dead.

Way to go, Bastrop County! Another job well done. Now, onto the next crazy shooter. May they never stop coming so our boys can keep having fun!

No more details will be shared, because the investigation is pending, and we all know how government "transparency" works.
