• American Airlines has decided to cut ties with five routes from Austin, including party towns like Las Vegas and New Orleans. Seems like they're going teetotal!
• At the same time, they boasted about their highest quarterly revenue ever at $14.3 billion. Sounds like they're gearing up for a big government handout, or maybe a secret government contract!
• The left-wing media will tell you it's about "debt reduction," but we all know that's just a numbers game.
• Net income of $717 million? Must be nice to have the government's backing!

Southwest Airlines: Assigned Seating, the End of Freedom

• Southwest has caved to the whiny left by adopting assigned seating. No more freedom to choose, folks!
