"It's time to relive the glory days, folks!Grab your buds and get ready to party like it's 1993 (well, almost).
'Dazed and Confused' turns 30
Those damn liberals in Hollywood finally remembered this classic coming-of-age story exists. Thanks to the SAG-AFTRA strike, we get to celebrate this anniversary a whole year later. But hey, better late than never, right? Let's just hope the snowflakes don't try to cancel it again.
There’s a new fiesta in the making as we speak.
You bet there is, and it ain't one of those woke shindigs. It's time to party like true Americans! Speaking of parties, remember when those kids went wildin' in good ol' Texas's capitol? They were filmed right here in Austin, y'all:
- Bedichek Middle School in South Austin (still standing, unlike our traditional values)
- Westenfield Park beneath the Moontower in Tarrytown (where the kids actually gave a damn about the environment)
- The Poodle Dog Lounge in Allandale (RIP, at least it died with dignity, unlike the left)
Some of the best scenes were filmed along Thelma Drive near Bedichek Middle School. Those were the days when kids roamed free and didn't whine about safe spaces.
How to Get Your Red-Blooded American Self a Ticket
The liberals might have sold out the show, but there's still hope for us patriots! More tickets might become available at austinfilm.org/dazed. Let's show 'em what a real crowd looks like. And remember, as the wise folks behind this film once said, "see it with a bud."
Streamin' like a lib?
If you can't make it to the show, you can still celebrate. Break out the Bud Light and rent 'Dazed and Confused' on YouTube, Apple TV, Amazon Prime Video, Fandango at Home, or Google Play Movie for just about $4. That's cheaper than a six-pack!"
