Those buoys are now a political football in the big dust-up between Gov. Greg "The Leg" Abbott and Biden's clown car over border snoozing.

Red Rio Grande: Lone Star State Stares Down Feds, Postpones Trial Extravaganza

The liberal tears are flowing faster than the Rio Grande as the trial over Texas' buoys on the river is postponed. The fed-up feds wanted to sink the 1,000-foot chain of buoys, installed by our great Governor Greg Abbott to ward off illegal immigrants from Mexico, but the 5th Circuit said "hold your horses!"

Texas, ever the lone star in a sea of blue, argued the river ain't navigable anyway, and the court agreed (sort of). The judges were all over the place with their opinions, but the bottom line is: the buoys stay for now.

The feds, still crying, need more time to figure out what the ruling means. Judge Ezra, a senior gent, said they'll chat on Tuesday and set a new trial date for November.

Texas, always pushing the envelope, wants a jury to decide the case. Judge Ezra said no thanks, but we're not giving up and took it to the 5th Circuit.

These buoys are just a small part of Abbott's $11 billion Operation Lone Star. He's sent our boys in olive drab and the Texas Rangers down to the border to protect us from the blue wave of Democrats and their illegal friends.

Our governor, a real cowboy, is making sure immigration is a red-hot issue in 2024.
