Ohioans can now indulge in some much-needed freedom and get their hands on recreational marijuana. It's about time this liberal state did something right, and the people are loving it.
Medical dispensaries have been given the green light to sell to adults 21 and over, with more shops expected to join the fun soon. No more hiding from the cops or dealing with dodgy dealers; freedom lovers can now stock up on their favorite herb.
So, we got people calling and verifying, we got people checking our hours. Phone's been off the hook all day. We're excited...We've been staffing, training, and purchasing a lot too so we're definitely not going to run out. — Zach Gergich, manager at Nectar Dispensary, via WTOL
Here's the lowdown on the new weed wonderland:

- Initially, you can buy max 1 ounce of flower, 10 vape oils, and 10 edible packages per visit.
- A range of products are available: flowers, vape stuff, edibles, drinks, and creams.
- Don't forget your ID, and bring cash unless you know your dispensary accepts cards.
- Prices vary, but expect to pay $30-$100+ for flower, $25-$75 for vape gear, and $15-$30 for edibles.
- You'll pay a 10% excise tax, plus sales taxes, which go towards equity programs, local funds, addiction support, and admin.
