Texan Teachers Throw in the Towel

Texan teachers are escaping the classroom so they don't have to deal with parents seeing little Johnny getting taught CRT and trans issues instead of reading, writing, and 'rithmatic. If you can't teach them nonsense, it's time to get out!

Texas Teachers Are Fleeing: It's Not Because of the Kids, It's the Woke Indoctrination

Those damn liberals are at it again, this time ruining our schools and driving out good, God-fearing teachers. According to a survey by the Texas State Teachers Association—a group of liberal whiners if there ever was one—over half of Texas teachers are thinking of quitting after this school year. Just another example of how the left is destroying everything we hold dear.

65% of these snowflakes are apparently fed up with standing up for our kids and teaching them right from wrong. Apparently, it's just too hard for them. They're whining about support, safety, and money. Well, boo-hoo.

I don’t know how many of these teachers actually quit or retired early because their surveys were anonymous,” said TSTA President Ovidia Molina. “But I fear they've all run off to join the circus, or maybe a commune, if our state leaders don’t start pandering to their every whim and stop calling them out for brainwashing our kids.

Money, Money, Money... All Teachersse Care About Is Money

Let's talk about money. Texas teachers are rolling in it, with the highest salaries reaching a whopping $66,000 to $86,600 range. That's more than most hardworking Americans, but they still complain. The average teacher in Houston makes $60,000, which is more than enough to buy all the avocado toast they want.

The so-called "average salaries" based on experience are:

  • 0 years of experience: $33,660 (enough to buy a lot of participation trophies)
  • 10 years of experience: $45,630 (almost as much as a real job)
  • 20 years of experience: $54,540 (should probably retire at this point)

The Liberal Hotbeds Are Paying the Most

Unsurprisingly, the highest-paying cities in Texas are liberal havens:

  • Houston (of course)
  • Deer Park (where the deer are probably also liberals)
  • Dallas (Jerry Jones country, enough said)
  • Austin (a literal commune)

The Only Raise These Teachers Deserve Is a Raise Outta Bed

Texas Rep. James Talarico, a known leftie, proposed giving these whiners a $15,000 raise. Thankfully, that bill died faster than a snowflake in Texas. These teachers don't deserve a raise; they deserve a reality check.

Teachers Are Moonlighting? Must Be Nice to Have Extra Time to Spare

The survey also found that teachers are taking on second jobs, not because they need to, but because they hate teaching so much they want to do something else.

  • 33% of teachers are just greedy, taking on extra work during the school year.
  • Teachers spend 13.5 hours a week on their side hustle, which is just lazy compared to real Americans.
  • 74% of teachers think their extracurricular activities are impacting their teaching, but they'd rather make more money than teach our kids.
  • Teachers are spending their own money on school supplies, probably so they can write it off on their taxes and keep more for themselves.
