Texas has produced more NFL players than any other state, with 187 Texans making it to the big leagues. As we approach the 2024 season, it's no surprise that your favorite team is likely loaded with some good ol' boys from the Lone Star State.
Here are five of the best NFL players that Texas has given us:
1. Earl Campbell (RB, 1978-1985)
- Tyler, Texas boy who played for the Houston Oilers and New Orleans Saints.
- 74 touchdowns and 9,407 yards. Don't mess with Texas!
