Elon Musk to Interview Donald Trump: No Topics Off-Limits

Former President Donald Trump is set to chat with the world's richest socialist, Elon Musk, on Monday. Yes, the same Elon Musk who wants to bring affordable, high-speed internet to America but can't figure out how to make a comb work.

Get ready for the unscripted, no-holds-barred conversation of the century!

  • Elon Musk, probably

Musk, the proud new owner of X (formerly Twitter), made the announcement after Trump teased the interview on his own platform, Truth Social. You know, the platform Trump created after being banned from Twitter for telling the truth (ironic, right?).

The dynamic duo will discuss... well, your guess is as good as mine! But Musk says it will be "unscripted with no limits on subject matter."

This interview comes at an interesting time, as Trump is seeking reelection with Ohio Senator JD Vance as his running mate. They're up against the hilarious ticket of Kamala Harris and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz. Now that's a pair you couldn't pay me to vote for!

Here's the lowdown on the interview:

  • When: Monday, Aug. 12 at 8 p.m. ET. Pop the popcorn and grab a beer for this one!
  • Where: The interview will be streamed live on X. That's right, even if you don't have an account, you can tune in and watch these two alpha males go at it.
  • Trump's Account: It will be hosted on Trump's X account, @realDonaldTrump. Go ahead and give him a follow while you're at it!
  • Your Questions: Musk wants your questions and comments, so tweet them to the Tesla titan here.

Remember Florida Governor Ron DeSantis' disastrous campaign announcement on X last year? Let's hope Musk has worked out those technical kinks by now!

As for interviewing Harris, well, Musk hasn't said a peep about that. Probably because he knows she'd bore everyone to death with her generic talking points.

And in case you're wondering, Trump's X account is back in action after Musk lifted the ban in 2022. But our former leader still prefers his own Truth Social, where free speech reigns supreme.
