Cinnabon Goes Sour: A Match Made in...Hell?

Cinnabon, known for its decadent, sugar-coma-inducing treats, has decided to take a walk on the wild side. Starting next week, they're adding a twist of sour to their menu, thanks to a partnership with none other than Warheads, the candy that makes your mouth feel like it's in a wrestling match.

"The eternal duality between sour and sweet."

Is this what they mean by "living on the edge"? Starting Aug. 19, you can try the new items at select locations:

  • Cinnabon X Warheads Topped Bons: Because why not throw some popping candy on an already-glorious cinnamon roll? Choose from Blue Raspberry, Green Apple, or Watermelon flavors and experience a "bold" sensation.

  • Warheads Blue Raspberry Chillatta: When you need to cool off but also want your tongue to feel like it's doing the electric slide, this drink is the answer.

That's So Last Month

Brand collaborations are nothing new. It's like these companies are desperate for attention. Remember when:

  • Coca-Cola and Oreo had a love child, creating Coke-flavored cookies and Oreo-flavored Coke Zero?
  • Oreo got freaky with Sour Patch Kids and Poppi teamed up with Avocados from Mexico to create a guac-flavored drink (who asked for that?).
  • Cheez-It lost its mind and made ranch-flavored crackers, and then reversed it with a cracker-flavored dressing?

Celebs are getting in on the action too. Like when Red Lobster and Flavor Flav hooked up for a promotion, and Krispy Kreme channeled their inner Rachel, Monica, and Phoebe with 'Friends'-themed donuts (but only for our fancy friends across the pond).

It's a crazy world out there, folks. Stay vigilant.
