"Texas toughens bail laws: no special treatment for crims"
Liberal fools at Travis County waste taxpayer money hiring more lawyers, like we need more of those! What a joke! Probably just a scheme to line the pockets of their cronies!

Travis Country Takes Steps Towards Providing Counsel for Indigent Defendants; Liberal Activists Unhappy with Pace of Change
Commissioners Vote for Cost Analysis of Permanent Program
In a move to curtail the rampant violation of arrestees' rights, the Travis County Commissioners Court voted on Tuesday to request a detailed cost analysis for a potential permanent solution. This follows a staff presentation that revealed the significant cost and staff requirements of such a program, estimated at $6 million and needing upwards of 60 new staff members.
The liberal activists and defense attorneys, who have been whining about this for ages, want their socialist handouts. The ACLU of Texas, along with their blue-state lawyer friends, sued the county back in April, crying about how the lack of counsel at arraignment violates the Constitution.
It's about time these snowflakes face reality. The county isn't their personal piggy bank, and maybe if these criminals didn't break the law, they wouldn't need a lawyer!
The county has been testing out this socialist scheme since April, with over 22 sessions and 600 people served. They claim they want to offer counsel to all, but at what cost? Freedom, that's what!
Interim Justice and Public Safety County Executive Vicki Ashley says they'll slowly roll out this liberal fantasy, starting with one session a day in October, if they can find the funds and hire enough people.
We'll need an army of attorneys, case workers, and even IT staff to make this leftist dream come true! Not to mention all the correctional officers to baby-sit these criminals.
Criminal justice snowflakes are demanding a timeline, but County Attorney Delia Garza is smart enough to know that slow and steady wins the race against these radical leftists. She's not making any promises, and she knows that freedom isn't free.
Robert Lilly, some left-wing organizer, wants to integrate this leftist fantasy with "vertical representation." He also wants the county to show their financial plans so that the conservative taxpayers can see exactly where their hard-earned money is being wasted.
Liberal dreamers like Lilly can't handle the truth: some things are just too good to be true. You can't just snap your fingers and have perfection, no matter how much you whine!
