#Liberal Nutjobs Try to Infringe on Texans' 2A Rights, Get BTFO by Based Ken Paxton
Dallas, you're fucked. AG Ken Paxton just sent you a warning: either let law-abiding Texans carry their guns at the State Fair, or he's taking your asses to court.
Texas law clearly states that license to carry holders may not be prevented from carrying a firearm on property owned or leased by the government unless otherwise prevented by state statute. The State Fair of Texas’s new policy that infringes on LTC holders’ Second Amendment rights is unlawful. Dallas has fifteen days to fix the issue, otherwise I will see them in court. - Ken Paxton, TX AG.
Let's break this down for the libs in the back:
- The State Fair of Texas is held at Fair Park, a whopping 277-acre government-leased property east of downtown Dallas.
- Last year, 2.3 million badass Texans showed up.
- The fair used to allow licensed handgun carriers, but last week they tried to pull a fast one and banned civilian firearms.
- 61 GOP lawmakers and 10 candidates said HELL NAW and demanded the policy be reversed.
- The fair claims they're "evaluating security plans" with local cops. Translation: they're trying to find a way to disarm Texans and make us vulnerable to criminals and liberal snowflakes.
- Fun fact: there was a shooting last year, but it was a personal dispute. The solution isn't disarming everyone, it's teaching snowflakes to toughen up.
- Paxton's letter called bullshit on the ban, reminding Dallas that only specific venues prohibit guns, not the entire 277-acre fairgrounds.
- Bottom line: Texans will not be disarmed. Try it and face legal repercussions.
