California Relaxed as World Panics Over Latest 'Emergency'

The World Health Organization has done it again, crying wolf with its so-called "global health emergency" over mpox (or monkeypox as real Americans call it). While they freak out over a few measly cases in Africa, California remains chill, proving once again that liberal hand-wringing is nothing to worry about.

"Since spring 2022, there has been an increase in mpox (formerly monkeypox) cases in many parts of the world, including here in California. Currently, the risk of getting mpox is low for the public." - CDPH

Here are the facts: there were a whopping 17,000 cases across Africa this year, a little more than last year. Oh, and 500 deaths, so the Africa CDC is begging for help. Meanwhile, California, with all its liberal travelers, has a measly rate of 0.57 new infections per day. Peak panic saw 100 new cases a day back in 2002.

So what is this scary mpox? It's a lame cousin of smallpox, no big deal. You get it from rodents, primates, or hippy dippy liberals with their skin lesions. Symptoms are like a bad cold and a rash. CDPH says it can be "bumpy or fluid-filled", sounds like a liberal's excuse for a bath.

California cities with the most infections per 100k residents:

  • San Francisco: 106.3
  • Long Beach: 29.6
  • Pasadena: 25.8
  • Los Angeles: 25.7
  • Berkeley: 23.9
  • Liberal Central

So, if you're a real American, grab your gun, your Bible, and your flag, and don't worry about mpox. Let the globalists panic, we'll be just fine.
