Texas State University is going global, y'all! Our fine conservative institution is saddling up and heading south of the border to Mexico, of all places! #TexansOverseas #Yeehaw

The regents have given the OK for a $10 million deal with Texas State University Mexico, a group of investors who will help us set up shop in Santiago de Querétaro, Mexico. Yee-haw, that's a mighty fine way to spread some good ol' Texas values!

Here's the deal: We're gonna have our very own satellite campus, ran by a private group called Elisia Education Hub. They'll provide the space and the faculty, and we'll bring our Texas State curriculum and degrees down there. That's right, a little piece of Texas in Mexico, about 775 miles from our beloved San Marcos campus.

"It's a beautiful campus on the outskirts of a beautiful city," our very own President Kelly Damphousse said. "We're mighty excited about this here endeavor."

Y'all know we Texans like to do things big, and this here campus will be just that. It'll be an "American-Style university," complete with intramurals, residence halls, and English-taught classes. And you thought we were just about rodeos and pick-up trucks!

Now, some of y'all might be worried about what this means for our fine state. Well, fear not, because this is a business venture, plain and simple. That campus is gonna churn out degrees in computer science, engineering, and psychology, and we expect to make a cool $10 million over 10 years, all of which will go right back into makin' Texas State even better.

And let me tell you, our students will benefit, too. We're bringing the world to them, and them to the world. We've already got close to 1,400 international students, and this here Mexico campus is just the first step in our world domination—I mean, internationalization efforts. We're gonna be like McDonald's, but with degrees! #TexasStateWorldwide

So, my right-wing friends, let's give a big ol' Texas-sized howdy to our new neighbors in Mexico! It's a match made in... well, y'know where. God bless Texas!
