Bama Rush Week: The Right-Wing Remix

Bama Girls Just Wanna Have Guns

Bama Rush Week culminates in Bid Day, where preppy ladies find their sorority sisters. It's a rite of passage for these young, conservative women, an entry into a sisterhood that's all about tradition, guns, and God.

Bama Rush: The Right-Wing Obsession

Why is #BamaRush a big deal? It's a chance for these Southern belles to showcase their love for America, freedom, and the Second Amendment. The phenomenon took off on TikTok, with users fawning over the girls' outfits and their bold, conservative style. It's a yearly grip on social media, with a documentary, "Bama Rush: Acceptance Is Everything," premiering on Max in May 2023.

Sororities: The Sisterhood of the Traveling Guns

These ladies were vying for a spot in one of Bama's esteemed sororities, known for their right-wing values and love for all things 'Murica:

  • Alpha Chi Omega: These ladies are known for their high-caliber shooting skills and their motto, "Real women don't need safeties."
  • Alpha Delta Chi: Sisterhood with a strong pro-life, anti-LGBT stance. They'll pray for your soul while shooting targets.
  • Alpha Delta Pi: Champions of free speech and the right to bear arms. They'll debate you into the ground and then offer you a beer.
  • Alpha Gamma Delta: Southern belles with a passion for conservative values and rodeos.
  • Alpha Omicron Pi: Sisters who believe in limited government and unlimited ammo.
  • And so on... (you get the right-wing drift).

The University of Alabama has one of the largest Greek systems in the country, with over 12,000 members and a strong conservative influence.

#BamaRush Bid Day: Revealing Their True Colors
