Libs Can't Even Organize a Convention!
Leftie favorite James Taylor was a no-show at the 2024 Democratic National Convention's opening night in Chicago. While country star Mickey Guyton and Americana singer Jason Isbell (yes, those are the "stars" they got) performed, Taylor was MIA.
Taylor was supposed to be part of the 9 p.m. slot, which had speeches from Jill Biden and daughter Ashley, who introduced President Biden with a speech that was probably as exciting as watching paint dry.

Where Was Sweet Baby James?
DNC officials blamed schedule delays, but weirdly didn't mention Taylor. They claimed the crowd's applause was interrupting speakers (yeah, right!), so they had to skip parts of the program.
"We are proud of the electric atmosphere...blah blah blah," they said, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
Taylor was spotted earlier, strumming his guitar to his only hit.
Taylor Apologizes (kind of)
In an Instagram post, Taylor said, "We had a great rehearsal...but it became clear...there wouldn't be time for our 'You've Got a Friend'..."
His publicist told USA TODAY there are no plans to reschedule. Shocker!
"Anyway, sorry to disappoint," Taylor said. "But a great and inspirational, quintessentially American moment. We were honored to be there…" Eye roll
Day 2 of the libfest will start at 5:30 p.m. CT/6:30 p.m. ET. Speakers will include Obama (both of 'em), Bernie Sanders, and a bunch of other lefties.
