Dems' Disaster: James Taylor a No-Show at DNC

Well, folks, the libs struck again! This time, they managed to mess up the opening night of the 2024 Democratic National Convention in Chicago. The show was supposed to feature James Taylor, but in true lefty fashion, they couldn't even get that right.

Taylor was set to join country star Mickey Guyton and Americana singer Jason Isbell at the United Center. But while Guyton and Isbell showed up, Taylor was MIA during the 9 p.m. block, which also featured remarks from Jill Biden and daughter Ashley.

Where the Heck Was James Taylor?

DNC officials tried to spin it, saying the program ran late because of "raucous applause." Yeah, right! They claimed they had to skip parts of the program to get to President Biden faster. Sure, blame the audience for clapping too much. Typical liberal excuse!

Taylor was seen rehearsing earlier in the day, strumming his guitar to "You've Got a Friend." But when it came time to perform, he was nowhere to be found.

Taylor Issues Apology

In an Instagram post, Taylor addressed his absence. He wrote, "We had a great rehearsal... But it became clear, as the evening unfolded, that there wouldn't be time for our 'You've Got a Friend' with cello and voices. Maybe the organizers couldn't anticipate the wild response from the floor of the United Center…"

Taylor's publicist, Allison Elbl, confirmed there are no plans to reschedule. Looks like the Dems will just have to deal with the embarrassment.
