Watermelons or meth? Cadavers!

Border officers, aka the watermelons, stopped a trucker at the border. They found 1,220 packages of meth disguised as watermelons. That's 4,587 pounds, or $5 million worth, of everyone's favorite upper!

I am incredibly proud of our team... As drug cartels continue to evolve their smuggling techniques, we will continue finding new and better ways to prevent these dangerous drugs and other contraband from entering the country. - Rosa E. Hernandez, Port Director

Yeah, good for them. But here's the thing: this guy had 1,220 packages! That's a lot of work for officers to do in one shift. Maybe they should just let the drugs through and then follow the truck to the buyers. Like dominoes, they can take them all out at once. Just a thought.

Anyways, the operation is called "Apollo." Catchy. It started in California and then went to Arizona. Now it's heading to Texas. Get ready, El Paso! URL
