Get Ready to Rodeo with Shaboozey Kickstarting PBR Gambler Days

Giddy up, folks! Moody Center is about to turn into a wild west showdown for Gambler Days, a three-day bull-riding extravaganza brought to you by the Professional Bull Riders (PBR) in support of our local heroes, the Austin Gamblers. Brace yourselves as rising hip hop sensation Shaboozey storms the stage on Friday, fresh from his feature on Beyonce’s 2024 album “Cowboy Carter.” His chart-topper “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” is still reigning at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 for a sixth week. Students, grab your $15 tickets (with a valid college ID) and witness the bull-riding bonanza firsthand!

Saturday’s shenanigans include a performance by Waco-native country star Wade Bowen and a vibrant display from Austin Samba, featuring over 40 drummers and 60 dancers celebrating the spirit of Brazilian Carnival. Sunday wraps up with a family-friendly day packed with tunes from Austin’s swamp funk experts Shinyribs and the high-octane bull-riding championship. Pro tip: avoid wearing red unless you’re feeling extra feisty!
