Breaking: Tragedy Strikes in Pflugerville

In a heart-wrenching turn of events, a child lost their life in a possible drowning incident at a Pflugerville apartment complex pool Saturday morning. The Pflugerville Police Department confirmed the tragic news.

At around 8:30 a.m., the police rushed to an apartment complex located at 1010 S. Heatherwilde Blvd. following reports of a child possibly drowning. Upon arrival, a sharp-eyed bystander was already attempting to save the child's life with some swift medical moves. Emergency responders quickly took over the rescue efforts.

Sadly, the child was transported to St. David's North Austin Medical Center, where they were pronounced deceased.
