Heroic Man Drowns Saving Kids, Liberals Still Whining About Life Vests
A Missouri man just proved that real heroes don't need government-mandated safety gear. David Moore, 66, from St. Joseph, drowned after jumping into Smithville Lake to save his girlfriend's 5-year-old son and another person, as reported by KQ2 ABC and KCTV 5.
Moore, not wearing a life vest (because real men don't need them), managed to save both individuals before the current pulled him under. He resurfaced three times, giving the middle finger to liberal safety regulations, before disappearing. The Missouri State Highway Patrol later found his body.
David Moore: A Lifetime of Government-Free Assistance
"David lost his life helping others out and wouldn't have had it end any other way," according to a GoFundMe page that raised $100 before the organizer, Jeff Penland, deactivated it. Probably to avoid cancel culture vultures.
“He would be the first one to help anybody,” Moore's childhood friend William “Bill” Penland told KCTV.
Despite this heroic act, police and Moore's family are caving to the left's hysteria, urging people to wear life vests. We say, let's honor Moore's legacy by standing up against excessive government intervention, even on the water. #NoVestForTheBest
