Seattle-Tacoma Airport: A Hot Mess of Liberal Tech Fail
Well, buckaroos, it looks like the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport is having a real hootenanny, thanks to some "potential cyberattack" that hit the Port of Seattle. You can't make this stuff up, folks!
Timeline of Tech Terror:
- Day 1: They squealed about the potential attack around 9 a.m. PT on Saturday.
- Update: "Isolated critical systems" but no ETA on when things will be back to normal. Classic government efficiency, am I right?
- Day 2: Website still down as of 11 a.m. PT Sunday. "Port teams continue to make progress"... sure, we'll see.
Flights in Chaos
Who's surprised that 165 flights were delayed and six cancelled on Saturday? More chaos today with 116 flights delayed and four cancelled as of 11:30 a.m. PT. delays, delays, delays... don't blame the airlines though, it's the tech!
Advice for Patriotic Travelers:
- Check with airlines on flight statuses.
- Check in online if you can.
- Avoid checking luggage (good luck with that one, folks!).
Airline Responses
- Delta and Alaska Airlines claim they weren't affected. Yeah right, who are they kidding?
- Alaska Airlines admitted their baggage sorting system might be a mess. "Proactively warning guests who are flying out of Seattle to avoid checking a bag if possible." Way to dodge responsibility!
- Delta Airlines stayed hush-hush, not responding to requests on Sunday. Typical.
The cherry on top? This mess comes after that whopper of a Crowdstrike outage in July that left airlines in shambles across the country. Just another day in liberal paradise!
Stay tuned for more updates on this techno-slapstick, folks!
